Opening of the Joint Exhibition Titled “Iraqi & Jordanian Women Fine Artists” At The Iraqi Business council Hall
Among the activities of IBC Cultural Program (Ibdaa), and under the patronage and presence of HRH Princess Fakhir Al Nisaa Bint Raad, the joint fine arts exhibition was opened on Tuesday July 2nd, 2019 on IBC Hall / 1st floor titled “Iraqi & Jordanian Women Fine Artists” with the attendance of a large crowd of members of the Iraqi community in Jordan and Jordanian local society as well as artists, academics, businessmen and journalists. Nine woman fine artists from Iraq and Jordan participated in the exhibition. During the opening ceremony, HRH Princess Fakhir Al-Nisaa Bint Radd toured the exhibition with IBC Deputy Chairman and Secretary General Mr. Saad Naji, IBC member Mrs. Ramara Daghistani, University Professor and artist Dr. Ibrahim Al-Abdali, who supervised organization of the exhibition, and the participating artists to have a look the exhibited paintings that included different styles and schools of fine arts, characterized with their beauty and tackled many subjects that reflected the potentials and creativity of the participating artists.
The exhibition included thirty six paintings that dealt with several subjects such as nature, woman, the Iraqi and Jordanian heritage.
The ceremony was attended by the political advisor of the Iraqi Embassy in Jordan Mr. Uday Assad on behalf of the Embassy, a large number of members of Cultural Committee and fine artists, in addition to satellite TV channels, IBC CEO and staff.
