Iraqi Business Council objectives

The Iraqi Business Council objectives strives to achieve stretch beyond the outlined ones; to everything that benefits the great people of Iraq, and can be referred to as follows:

  1. Endeavoring to make IBC as the key motivation to develop and promote trade and investments between Jordan and Iraq.
  2. Contributing to the development of local civil society.
  3. Enhancing trade and industrial promotion and investment between the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and the Republic of Iraq.
  4. Acting as a connecting link between Chambers of Commerce in Iraq and other trade organizations with the Jordanian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and working to promote trade interests of Jordanian and Iraqi civil societies.
  5. Collaborate with individuals and other organizations regarding issues of common interest and benefit.
  6. Acquaint Jordanian and Iraqi Investors with investment opportunities between the two countries.
  7. Facilitate encounters between IBC members and competent personnel in the Jordanian and Iraqi Authorities.
  8. Creation of data bank for investment, trade and industrial opportunities between the two countries.
  9. Extend assistance to IBC members to promote their investment status in the Kingdome in coordination with the Jordanian Authorities.
  10. Promote and strengthen social bonds and relations between IBC members, Iraqi community and the Jordanian people in general by means of organizing social and public events, exhibitions and various cultural, social, trade, scientific activities
