The IMF Seminar – A delegation of IBC members participated in a seminar over “Prospects of the Regional Economic Situation, Especially Iraq” held by the delegation of the International Monetary Fund – Iraq Mission visiting Jordan chaired by Head of Mission Mr. Christian Jose and the accompanying delegation consisting of Mr. Ahmed Hijazi / Economist, Miss Christian Neer / Economist and the Resident Representative of Iraq and Yemen Mission Miss Marwa Al-Naasa, held on Wednesday November 11th, 2015 in the Intercontinental Hotel – Amman.

On IBC side,The IMF Seminar was attended by IBC Vice President and Secretary-General Mr. Saad Naji and Board Members; Mr. Usama Al-Quraishi and Mr. Muhammad Al-Sarraf, and IBC members; Mr. Hassan Al-Dahhan, Mr. Kamil Alwan, Mr. Haleem Al-Hadithi, Mr. Atheer Al-Qadhi and IBC CEO, in addition to representatives of IBC companies. Among the participants were the Deputy Chief of Mission of the Belgium Embassy in Jordan Mr. Youris Toti, Dr. Ahmed Atiqa / Chairman of the International Finance Organization in Jordan and Mr. Haytham Qamhiya Chairman of the Capital Bank in Jordan.
During the Seminar surveys were presented on the global economic and financial situations and a road map was reviewed on the international environment, regional issues, the oil exporting and importing Middle Eastern and North African countries, Afghanistan and Pakistan. The Seminar also discussed reduced oil prices, ongoing conflicts and their burdens and impacts on the expected horizons of the Middle East.
