IBC “Ibdaa” Cultural Program Hosts A Personal Art Exhibition by Artist Tabarak Mansour Titled “From One Copy to Another”

As part of its ongoing activities to support arts and Iraqi artists, IBC “Ibdaa” Cultural Program hosted on Wednesday July 30th 2025 the personal exhibition by artist Tabarak Mansour, titled “From One Copy to Another” on the Hall of the Iraqi Business Council in Amman.

The exhibition was opened by IBC Deputy Chairman & Secretary-General, Dr. Saad Naji, a number of IBC members and IBC Director General, along with a crowd of artists, media figures and those interested in cultural and art affairs.  The exhibition comes in the framework of “Ibdaa” Program’s keenness to provide a vital platform for young Iraqi artists to express their artistic visions and present their creative experiences to a wide audience of intellectuals and artists.

Through her paintings, artist Tabarak Mansour explored the idea of “transformation and multiplicity within the human experience” using visual symbols such as masks and boxes as meditative tools expressing states of exposure, concealment, protection, isolation and transition from one identity to another.  The artist believes that masks are not means of hiding, but rather a tool for communication, and that boxes not only store objects, but also carry promises for protection or isolation possibilities.

On this occasion, Dr. Saad Naji prepared a special speech in which he praised the resounding success of the exhibition and the artist’s profound artistic approach, stressing IBC continued support for Iraqi innovators. Below the text of the message: –

A Salute to Creativity:

In a rare cultural and artistic precedent on the Iraqi and Jordanian scenes, the young Iraqi artist, Tabarak Mansour, was able to capture the attention and dwell in the audience hearts in her first solo exhibition “From One Copy to Another”, which has been embraced by “Ibdaa” Program held on the Iraqi Business Council’s Hall.

The opening celebrated beauty and innovation, as it witnessed a remarkable presence culminated in full sales during the first hour, which scene reflected the visual and emotional resonance achieved by her works that embodied a delicate artistic sense and color combinations vibrant with imagination, culture and wonder.

As I congratulate Ms. Tabarak Mansour on this brilliant appearance in the sphere of art, I wish her a career brimming with brilliance and uniqueness on the stage of art in Iraq and the world.  Also, I cannot miss to salute “Ibdaa” Cultural Program on its noble cultural role, which continues to affirm its active presence in nurturing arts and supporting young and promising talents, wishing “Ibdaa” continued success.
