The Iraqi Business Council held yesterday Sunday August 30th 2026 at IBC offices a meeting with a delegation from the Jordanian Association of Securities Investors headed by Dr. Yousif Qaisiyah. The meeting was attended by a number of the Association’s Board of Directors and General Assembly.
On behalf of IBC, the meeting was attended by IBC Deputy Chairman and Secretary-General, Dr. Saad Naji, IBC Board member Engineer Mekki Al-Faiz, IBC member Mr. Nimr Noaman and IBC Director General.
At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Saad Naji welcomed the visiting delegation, emphasizing the importance of enhancing communication and cooperation among private and public sectors institutions and investors. Dr. Naji also provided an overview on the Iraqi Business Council, the companies and sectors operating under its umbrella, the key services and privileges it offers its members, foremost among them business networking, introducing investment opportunities, organizing meetings and economic events.
For their part, the visiting delegation provided an overview on the role of the Jordanian Association of Securities investors as to serving investors in the Jordanian capital market, as well as services provided in the areas of consultation and guidance, preparation of analytical studies and reports and coordination with the relevant regulatory authorities.
Participants in the meeting provided an overview on their respective companies and areas of businesses. The two sides exchanged views on a number of topics of mutual interest, particularly the opportunities available in the Amman financial market and mechanisms to strengthen communication between investors and businessmen.
Both sides discussed ways to enhance cooperation and information and expertise exchange to contribute to expanding opportunities for communication, networking and better serving members of both sides.
