As part of the activities of IBC “Ibdaa” Cultural Program, the 9th design exhibition “Rest of A Chair” by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Thabit Al-Baldawi was opened Tuesday June 3rd 2025 on IBC Hall.
The opening ceremony was attended by the Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to Jordan, H.E Omar Al-Barazanji, IBC Deputy Chairman & Secretary-General, Dr. Saad Naji, and IBC member Dr. Bashar Abdul Rahman, in addition to IBC Director General, IBC staff and a large crowd of prominent cultural and academic figures.
The attendees admired the design concepts that expressed the spirit of the Iraqi and Arab creativity, as Arabic calligraphy was employed in furniture design using innovative methods and visions. The exhibition included about (25) new design ideas, through which Dr. Al-Baldawi attempted to combine imagination and reality utilizing the latest artificial intelligence technologies.
